Have an awesome Christmas and New Year

It's been a year full of awesome, hasn't it! But that time of year has come, and I'm signing off from my blogging to take a break over the Christmas and New Year period.

Here's what we'll be getting up to Down Under :)

(prawn skewers, yum!)

(Nothing beats going to the beach on Christmas morning - no snow for us!)

(BBQs with family and friends)

(Test cricket on Boxing Day)

(Pavlova - my favorite dessert of all time!!!)

(And my niece/nephew is due on Boxing Day, woot!)

I hope you all have a fantastic festive season, filled with lots of good food, eats, and company. I'll miss you all, can't wait to reconnect in the New Year and hear all about what you've been doing.

Lots of hugs,

Wishing you and your family the very best, Rach, you deserve no less!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I look forward to being more of a presence around here in the commenting quarters in the new year...I've been doing a lot of "reading" of post but have not been very good at commenting.

I'm sure I'll find a lump of coal in my stocking because of it! (Bah Humbug!!)

Cheers, Jenny

Aloha Rach,

(I can't believe you used a picture of the infamous "shrimp on da barbie!"
That's like me using a pint of Guinness or a picture of St. Patrick :)

Anyway, stereotypes aside for a moment, I wanted to say you are UNIQUE among Bloggers and I *so* appreciate your help, words and support as I learned how to spread my wings.

All the best to your sister(in-law?) with the upcoming baby... and we'll race you if you want... ours is due any day now, too:)

Merry Christmas, Rach, and a Happy New Year to you and yours!

PS... tell that fellow Rod to tie his Kangaroo down, too :)~

Have a wonderful "Down Under" Christmas from an "Up-side" Yank fan....I love Pavlova!. Was introduced to it by a fellow Missionary from Australia while I was serving in PNG. I've been to Australia twice, and wanted at one point to emigrate! Maybe someday...

Merry Christmas!! Enjoy the beach. I grew up on the coast and our tradition was always to walk on the beach on Christmas Eve. But it was definitely too cold for swimming.

My son loves Pavlova, too, and was disappointed when my hubby vetoed it as our Christmas dessert this year. (Maybe I'll make it for New Year's) :)

Have an awesome Christmas, Rach! And while I like having four seasons, I'm with the commenter who covets the beach :)

Oh, what a lovely present for your family if your niece/nephew joins the world on Boxing Day - or even a day early. Hope all goes well and you and yours have a wonderful sun-drenched Christmas while the UK enjoys its usual . . . er . . er . . dark/rain/frost/ . . .
